A new division, Bidfood Ingredients by name was established in July 2007- a result of unifying two well know Bidvest companies, namely Bidbake and Crown Foods Group. Given the commonalities of these successful groups, both servicing segments in the food industry with ingredients and technology, the marriage was logical.

Bidfood Ingredients now houses 4 individual trading companies, namely Crown National, Chipkins Bakery Supplies, NCP Yeast and Bidfood Solutions.  Bidfood Technologies, the technical and manufacturing arm of the group offers all necessary technical support and expertise.  Each company represents a one stop source of superior food technology and quality food ingredients manufactured in the state of the art HACCP accredited and ISO 22000 facilities- all of which conform to the most stringent world-wide food safety standards.
